8. Diaper Wagon Cake
A small wagon doubles as the cake base and as a gift the family will use for years. It is one of the most practical builds here, and it holds a surprising number of diapers.
What you need: A small plastic or wooden pull wagon, 50–70 diapers, ribbon, and small filler gifts like bath products, socks, or a board book.
How to make it: Roll the diapers and pack them upright in rows inside the wagon, keeping the printed waistbands facing the same direction for a tidy look. Fill the front section with small gifts. Wrap a wide ribbon around the outside of the wagon and tie a bow at the handle. If you want height, stack a small second tier on top of the back row.
Time and difficulty: 40 minutes. The easiest assembly on this list because the wagon does all the structural work.
