6. Diaper Cake Motorcycle
For parents who ride, or simply for a shower with a slightly edgy theme, a diaper motorcycle is a memorable choice. It uses the same wheel logic as the tricycle but with a longer, lower profile.
What you need: Two rolled diaper wheels, a receiving blanket or hooded towel for the body, a baby bottle for the front fork, ribbon, and optionally a small sign or a pair of mittens as saddlebags.
How to make it: Wrap the two wheels in ribbon. Fold the receiving blanket lengthwise into a thick strip and run it between the wheels to form the frame. Attach the bottle at an angle at the front for the handlebars and fork. Use ribbon to lash the pieces together at the joints, then tuck small items like socks or a pacifier into the frame.
Time and difficulty: 45–60 minutes. Moderate. The lashing is what keeps it upright.
Keep the color scheme to one metal tone — silver ribbon with gray and white blankets — for a cleaner look, or go bright for a biker theme. This one is best displayed on a flat surface where it will not be bumped.
