9. Felt Ghost Brooch or Pin

A felt ghost brooch is a fun wearable craft that doubles as a small gift. It’s a great way to use up tiny felt scraps, and it adds a subtle festive touch to a jacket, scarf, or tote bag.
Cut a small ghost shape from white felt, around two inches tall. Stitch or glue a tiny face on the front. Cut a slightly smaller matching ghost from felt or stiff interfacing to back it. Stitch the two pieces together, leaving a small opening to add a pinch of stuffing if desired. Stitch closed, then attach a brooch pin back to the reverse side.
For variation, make a set in different colors — soft pink, pale gray, lavender — to create a little ghost family of brooches. They also work well as gift toppers or package decorations.
This project takes around ten minutes per brooch and is a nice introduction to working with small felt pieces for beginners.
