8. Framed Vintage Picture Frame Lanterns
Old wooden photo frames can be joined into four-sided, elegant tabletop glass lanterns.
- Materials: Four matching 5×7 or 8×10 photo frames, wood glue, small corner brackets, a flat wooden base, and pillar candles.
- Assembly: Remove the backing and secure the glass permanently into each frame with clear silicone. Join the four frames at right angles using glue and corner brackets to create a box, then fasten the structure to a flat square wooden base. Paint the entire piece in an antique white or distressed charcoal finish.
- Styling: Use as centerpiece lighting for outdoor dining tables, surrounded by fresh eucalyptus or seasonal greenery.
