This storybook concept treats the pumpkin as an illuminated, multi-level fairy dwelling nestled in moss.
- Technique: Transfer a stencil featuring clusters of wild toadstools, tiny arched doors, and winding roots onto the front hemisphere.
- Execution: Carve the window panes and the gills under the mushroom caps completely through to the hollow center. For the mushroom caps themselves, use a flat loop tool to peel back only the exterior skin, creating a warm, translucent glow. Finish the exterior by gluing faux preserved moss and mini acorns around the base.
